Global Operations (Remote)

Intel & Magazine Researcher

Commitment: 3–5 hrs/week.

Mission: Conduct deep-dive research into global systems, science, and social history. You provide the raw intel that fuels our investigative editorial pieces.

Visual Assets Creator

Commitment: 2–4 hrs/week.

Mission: Design high-impact hero imagery, social media assets, and precision video trims. You define the visual front of the movement.

Logistics & Inventory Lead

Commitment: 2–6 hrs/week.

Mission: Manage the backend. Maintain precision in supply spreadsheets, inventory audits, and partner outreach coordination.

Scholarship Program Coordinator

Commitment: 1 Specialist needed.

Mission: Direct the “Break the Chain” scholarship funnel. You will manage the applicant pipeline, verify records, and facilitate the final selection committee.

Commerce & Shop Support

Commitment: 2–4 hrs/week.

Mission: Ensure the engine stays running. Handle SKU sanity checks, product listing QA, and high-level customer intel/communication.

Strategic Outreach Specialist

Commitment: 2–4 hrs/week.

Mission: Deploy templated outreach to potential partners and donors while keeping our CRM (Central Registry) updated and actionable.

Field Operations (Bangladesh, In-Person)

MCHE Field Nurse

Status: 2 Operators needed.

Mission: Direct clinical support for maternal health checkups, BP monitoring, and ultrasound assistance.

Note: Primarily volunteer-based with a modest field stipend provided.

Health & Childcare Educator

Status: 2 Operators needed.

Mission: Lead high-impact health education and childcare sessions for mothers in the community.

Note: Small support stipend provided.

Field Data Operator

Status: 1 Specialist needed.

Mission: Manage patient registries, generate field reports, and maintain the integrity of our health session data.

Note: Modest stipend + volunteer spirit required.

Expectations & Commitment

Standard Rotation: 2–5 hours per week. Consistent output over high volume.
Syncs: One 20-minute weekly briefing to align on objectives.
Comms: We operate via Notion and Email. Minimal noise, maximum clarity.
Structure: Every assignment has a clear objective, a deadline, and a direct impact link.

The Onboarding Pipeline

Submission: Complete the intake form below with your focus area and availability.
Briefing: A 15-minute intro call to verify role fit and answer technical questions.
Activation: Access your onboarding dashboard in Notion and receive your first live task.

Standard Protocols

Eligibility: Must be 18+. Professional communication and functional English are required. Creative/Tech applicants should have a portfolio or sample work ready for review.

Safeguarding & Privacy: Because our field operations serve mothers and children, we maintain a zero-tolerance privacy policy. All crew members must respect data integrity; certain roles require a formal agreement and ID verification.

Is this paid?

Most roles are volunteer. For the MCHE project (nurses, educators, computer operator), we provide a small stipend but it is mainly volunteer work.

Remote or in-person?

Roles are mostly remote. MCHE positions are in-person in Bangladesh.

How do I track time?

Simple weekly note in Notion or Google Sheet.

Can I get a certificate/reference?

Yes—after 8+ weeks with consistent contributions.

What if I’m new?

We will pair you with a simple starter task and checklists.

Do I need prior medical training for MCHE nurse role?

Yes—basic nursing training or equivalent experience required.

Will BreakOrDie provide orientation?

Yes—every volunteer receives an onboarding checklist and intro call.

Can I volunteer if I am outside Bangladesh?

Yes—many roles are fully remote (content, outreach, scholarship applications, design).
