Overview
BreakOrDie Magazine (“BreakOrDie,” “we,” “us,” “our”) offers email subscriptions (newsletters/updates) and may offer paid memberships in the future. This Subscription Policy explains how sign-ups, billing (if applicable), renewals, cancellations, and access work. This policy applies in addition to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
Current Offering
- Free newsletter: Available now. Includes editorial updates, new articles, project highlights, and occasional announcements.
- Paid plans: Not currently offered. If we launch paid plans later, this page will be updated with plan details, benefits, and pricing before you enroll.
Sign-Up & Accounts
- You must provide a valid email address.
- By subscribing, you consent to receive the content relevant to your selection (e.g., editorial newsletter).
- You can unsubscribe anytime via the “Unsubscribe” link in emails or by contacting us at magazine@breakordie.com.
Billing & Auto-Renewal (For Future Paid Plans)
- We will clearly display price, billing period, renewal date, and applicable taxes before you pay.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel in advance.
- You authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge the payment method on file each cycle until cancellation.
Trials, Discounts, & Promotions (Future Paid Plans)
- If we offer a free trial or promotional price, the regular price will begin at the end of the trial/promo period unless you cancel beforehand.
- Promotions can change and may be limited by time, region, or eligibility.
Cancellations
- Free newsletter: Click “Unsubscribe” in any email, or contact magazine@breakordie.com.
- Future paid plans: You’ll be able to cancel from your account or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues through the end of the current paid period unless stated otherwise.
Refunds (Future Paid Plans)
- Unless we state otherwise for a specific plan, fees are non-refundable once a billing period starts.
- If we terminate a paid plan without cause, we may issue a pro-rated refund for the remaining paid period.
Access & Fair Use
- Subscriptions are for personal, non-commercial use.
- Do not resell, share login credentials, or bulk-redistribute content without permission.
- We may limit or block abusive or automated access (e.g., scraping).
Pricing & Plan Changes (Future Paid Plans)
- We may update plan features or prices. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle, with reasonable notice.
- If a change materially harms your access or price, we’ll notify you in advance and provide a path to cancel before the change takes effect.
Payments & Security (Future Paid Plans)
- Payments are processed by trusted third-party processors. We do not store full card details.
- You’re responsible for keeping your payment information accurate and up to date.
Taxes
- Prices may exclude taxes. We’ll add required taxes based on your billing details and applicable law.
Communications
- Transactional emails (e.g., receipts, service announcements) are part of the service.
- Marketing emails (e.g., newsletters) are optional—you can opt out anytime via the unsubscribe link.
Privacy
- We handle your information under our Privacy Policy (data collection, use, and your choices).
- For newsletters, we store your email and engagement data necessary to deliver and improve the service.
Eligibility & Minors
- You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your region) to subscribe. If under 18, you must have permission from a parent/guardian where required.
Service Availability
- We aim for reliable delivery but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service (email filters, outages, or third-party issues may occur).
